Our Archdiocesan Vision is to be a Catholic diocese which is faithful to the mission entrusted to us by Jesus Christ, full of missionary disciples who work together co-responsibly in vibrant communities of faith, joyful in their service of God and neighbour.

Our Archdiocesan Vision informs our Vision for Education and its associated Multi Academy Strategy. The key aims of which are:
Securing the very best Catholic education for our children and those of future generations as part of the mission of the Church
As a family of schools within the Archdiocesan family, we live by the Gospel values in a spirit of true collaboration.  We learn from and with each other in a shared commitment to providing the highest quality and standards of Catholic formation and education.  Each school is supported and is an active contributor within the multi academy family while retaining its own ethos and identity to meet the needs of the broad diversity of children and communities served, particularly the most vulnerable and disadvantaged.
Creating sustainable school improvement structures and long-term resilience that encourage aspiration and innovation
Schools which work in deep and purposeful collaborative partnerships within the multi academy company framework, substantially increasing long-term resilience and sustainability with high quality governance and stewardship. The vision, ethos and strategy, informed by the mission of the Church and our Catholic values, are clear for all stakeholders. Continual improvement is sought and systems for statutory and legal compliance are achieved and monitored. There is aspiration for all.   A culture of innovation and creativity is supported, while the many challenges of securing, protecting and improving Catholic education are addressed collectively.
Developing Christ-centred Servant Leaders at all levels, joyful in service to God and neighbour – supporting all children to become the people God calls them to be
Leaders, staff, governors and directors across schools within and between multi academy families inspire each other to create prayerful communities and improve opportunities for ALL staff and pupils to thrive – spirit, soul and body - including the most vulnerable and disadvantaged. Each is helped to discern their vocation by ensuring wellbeing and provision of high quality faith formation, professional development, education and enrichment.
Fostering co-responsibility and a spirit of collaboration for the common good, continually balancing the principles of solidarity and subsidiarity
Schools within multi academy families, as well as multi academy families across the Archdiocese, continually support and collaborate with each other for the common good, aligned to the mission of the Church. Members and Trustees of the Archdiocese through the Diocesan Education Service and on behalf of the Archbishop support and monitor all multi academies and collectively contribute to and influence national developments. The appropriate balance is sought between the principles of solidarity and subsidiarity across schools, multi academy families and the Archdiocese (for example, within schemes of delegation).
Ensuring Catholic children and the vulnerable and disadvantaged are able to continue in outstanding Catholic education provision
Provision of sufficient pupil places in each phase of education, serving all pupils and their families, and supporting transition by providing pathways within Catholic education from 3 through 19 (nursery, primary/first, and middle/secondary schools and sixth forms).  Diversity and inclusion are key tenets.
We aspire to create vibrant communities of faith in which our children can learn and thrive.  The partnership between home, school and parish will be strong. All staff, senior leaders, governors and directors in our families of schools and multi academies; our parents and carers, students and alumni; and our parish priests and parish communities across the Archdiocese of Birmingham as well as the archdiocesan team members, Multi Academy Members, Trustees and His Grace will work together co-responsibly with a range of wider partners and civic organisations to achieve this. The Diocesan Education Service will ensure its work fully supports this vision and strategy.
