In our family of schools, you can train to teach, working in Catholic schools across the region.
 
Bishop Challoner Training School Alliance SCITT offer teacher training through many of our families of schools covering areas across the Archdiocese
  • Bishop Challoner Training School 
  • Holy Cross Catholic MAC
  • Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company
  • Our Lady of the Magnificat
  • St John Bosco Catholic Academy
  • St John Paul II Catholic Academy
  • St Theresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy
  • The Romero Catholic Academy
As well as many of our VA schools, both primary and secondary.
 
The training programmes on offer include full time and part time courses, QTS only, or QTS + PGCE. 
 
You can train to teach as a primary school teacher on one of the following courses:
  • Primary 7-11
  • Primary 3-7
  • Primary - with Maths specialism
  • Primary with PE specialism
  • Primary with SEND specialism
 
In secondary schools, you can train to teach in many different subjects: 
  • Art & Design
  • Biology
  • Business Studies
  • Chemistry
  • Computing
  • Design & Technology
  • English
  • Geography
  • Health and Social Care
  • History
  • Mathematics
  • MFL
  • Music
  • Physical Education
  • Physical Education with EBacc
