What is Rainbows?
Rainbows - From Hurt, through Healing, to Hope
RAINBOWS
Rainbows is a non profit making, international organisation that provides training for establishing peer support groups for children, adolescents and adults who have experienced a death, divorce or other painful transition n their family. We help them work through the grief process by implementing the RAINBOWS curricula in schools, churches and social service agencies. Such grief needs support as well as healing.
This need is growing each passing year. Rainbows provides a programme which, when followed, has been proved to be effective.
The Aim
The programme is to give participants an understanding of their new family unit; to assist them in the building of self-esteem; and to direct them towards a healthy acceptance of the changes that have taken place in their lives.
Mission Statement
RAINBOWS is an International, not-for-profit Organisation that fosters emotional healing among children grieving a loss from a life-altering crisis.
